A targeted email marketing campaign helps you to manage existing customers or people who have subscribed to an optional mailing list.
The term 'Email Marketing' does not mean sending spam.
The list of contacts who have already purchased from you or have expressed interest in your product or service is an invaluable marketing asset and must be treated with caution and respect. - Have great content - include articles the the reader is interested in, not just one long ad or catalogue
- Publish regularly but not too often - a regular weekly, fortnightly or monthly newsletter of a high quality has a better effect than poor emails delivered more regularly
- Be consistent - regular emails should be of a similar length, stay on topic and keep the same quality of content and language that the reader expects
- Always offer unsubscription - it's the law in Australia as well as building trust in the reader that you'll leave them alone if they want you to
